Inverclyde Royal Hospital (High Mast LED Upgrade)

 

We removed faulty luminaires from the 25mtr High Mast at Inverclyde Royal Hospital Car Park in Greenock and installed Specially Coated Philips Optivision LED Luminaires. The Special MSP Coating will ensure these fittings last for years and protect them from the coastal environment. The difference in the light levels is outstanding and the Hospital staff are delighted with the outcome.

 

In 2025 the DCLS team carried out repairs to the base of the main high mast column. See pictures of before and after on the column bolts. They are in an area that rain water did not drain away so the bolts were degrading in the stagnant water. The team also created a way for any future water to drain so there would not be any future problems. We will carry out an NDT Test every 2 years to ensure the structural integrity of the column.

DCLS have full responsibility of maintaining the High Mast Sports pitches at Riverside and the University Campus car park and street lighting.
