ASDA (Portlethen, Aberdeenshire)
Another Philips LED Lighting installation – this time in the car park of ASDA, Portlethen. The DCLS team worked through difficult conditions using a large truck mount boom to install new LED Luminaires. The existing lighting had failed due to them not being suitable for the climate. We have installed Marine Grade fittings. This extra coating will protect the luminaire for years to come.

During a stormy night the Main Power supply cable to the shop became loose and crashed down hanging at the side of the building. We came in and made everything safe and ensured that this would never happen again installing new Heavy-Duty Basket Tray right around the affected area. We winched it up and secured it all to the building. The shop thought they may have to close for a few days due to the extent of the work required, however DCLS worked around the clock. With this we ensured there was absolutely no disruption to the Christmas shopping period therefore saving ASDA a fortune in takings.

We recently installed a Community Defibrillator in Ardler, Dundee. This was done in memory of our employee Andy’s uncle Billy Stevens who recently passed of a cardiac arrest. A big thank you to Billys daughter Ashley Breen, Paul Gibson and all at Dundee West for helping bring this project together. DCLS helped by installing the defib free of charge. Also a big Thank You to Gavin White at Yesss Electrical for helping with some of the material.
